Lyric Soprano Paige Cutrona was most recently seen as Norina in Don Pasquale with the Underworld Productions Opera in Manhattan.  Described as ‘Passionate’ and ‘Vocally striking’ by the New York Times for her portrayal of Mimí in La Bohème (December 2009) Ms. Cutrona was recently honored to perform Paul Leavitt’s acclaimed Requiem to commemorate the Ten Year Anniversary of September 11th at St. Paul’s Chapel, Ground Zero, in her current home city of Manhattan. The Leavitt Requiem has also taken her to Eglise St. Sulpice, the largest church in Paris, for its international premiere and her international debut, as well as to Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.  Other recent engagements include Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Bach’s Magnificat, Poulenc’s Gloria, Valencienne in The Merry Widow, Pamina in The Magic Flute, and Cephise and La Statue in Rameau’s rarely seen Pygmalion. Ms. Cutrona has enjoyed breathing new life into seldom-performed works such as Chérubin, the role of Nina, and Feannichton in Offenbach’s Ba-Ta-Clan, but has also adored singing roles from the standard repertoire such as Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Mimí, La Bohème, and Susanna, Le Nozze di Figaro. Past concert work has included Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Britten’s The Company of Heaven, Mahler Symphony #4, Vivaldi Gloria and Schubert’s Mass in G.  Ms. Cutrona has toured the US and Canada with two productions of A Royal Christmas featuring Andrea Bocelli, Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. This season begins with John Rutter’s Mass for the Children and Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms with the Mid-Columbia Orchestra and Master Singers in Washington State and a reprisal of the role of Norina in Don Pasquale with the Amore Opera company in Manhattan. March of 2013 marks Ms. Cutrona’s return to Paris to sing Poulenc’s Gloria and Stabat Mater and she will give a solo recital in honor of the composer, Francis Poulenc.

Ms. Cutrona is proud to hold a Master of Music in Voice Performance degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Westminster Choir College. She studies privately with Dr. Jeanne Goffi-Fynn and Dr. Christopher Arneson in New York City.
